Description:

Missouri's proposed Amendment 2 would actually ban any attempt at human cloning, but opponents of this bill, even though they want "NO CLONING" are in quite a pickle over it.

I stole no such sign. My mother gave it to me after she decided that her Church was LYING TO HER, and she decided that the right moral choice would be to vote for Amendment 2. (BTW these signs are given out for free.)

Ahhhh! So now you admit that it prohibits the act of cloning!!! Wonderful! Now we are almost on the same page. Cloning on the cellular level is one of the many ways that current treatments are developed and deployed for diseses like diabetes. For example rDNA origin human insulin is a 'cloned' human rDNA origin treatment. Many forms of cloning are clearly not immoral.

There would be such a "legitimate debate" if the side that wanted to do good for the sick was not being called a pack of liars by the side supposedly 'protecting life' that is on its way to the trashcan.

"So now you admit that it prohibits the act of cloning!" No, it prohibits one act of cloning and allows another one. Obviously.

Obviously it allows and even encourages the act of cloning that would potentially cure my diabetes. An act that in brief summary is the combination of my own skin cell with an egg that has had its nucleus removed. An act that I would argue, is moral, just and has the best of intentions.

Lern ta spel dood. You wonder how mature I am? I'll tell you how mature I am. I'm a father of 3 boys. I'm mature enough to have read the arguments of both sides and made my own decision. How mature are you? Insulting people you don't even know! That is so very mature! You'll probably be elected president of the Maturity Club!

You're accused of acting immature and you respond by attacking the guy's typo. You'll probably be elected president of the Irony Club.

Here's another good one people: SergioMomarsh: "So now you admit that [A2] prohibits the act of cloning!!! Wonderful!" SergioMomarsh minutes later: "Obviously [A2] allows and even encourages the act of cloning" What a champion.

Look here you complete and utter moron, I'll not have you being an idiot anymore. Cloning an embryo, and creating a cloned self-sustaining individual are clearly two different, but related things. For the purpose of drawing a distinction, lets refer to them as what they are, "CLONED EMBRYO" or "CLONED Self-Sustaining Individual"
