This is purely for the sound. I love the V8 sound. An aluminum block would make things a lot better.

Because nobody wants to spend the cash for an aluminum block. I don't think this is a proper application for any large displacement engine Due to weight. You end up pushing the front wheels.

v8s are heavy tho, except for the 4.9s, i have a 3800 s/c , i much rather have that then a v8 tho because it has faster acceleration

Hahaha yea? I bet you have never taken your v8 to the track, I bet you have never dynoed it, and I bet you claim it has 350+ hp. but in reality, it is just another 230 whp turdbucket that sucks down gas, would barely run a low 14 in the qtr, and would lose to a bone stock srt4. On a good day you would be lucky to hang with a neon.
