I love the 80's version. Some may think that the soundtrack is chessy, but Moroder may have also introduced a whole new generation to this classic film.

This is one of my all time favourites and saw it at the movies when it was restored and cut by Giorgio Moroder. I love the new restored one by Kino on video just the same, but you are right about the soundtrack it is very good.

Thank you so much for uploading this. I must have seen it first time when i was 13 or 14. I honestly prefer the version with the "rock" soundtrack, i get so much more from it than the original. Iconic film and the muic only adds to it. Looked to get it on DVD but could only get the original not the 80'2 "music" version. Thanks again
