We're going back 400 million years to a time when all living creatures lived and breathed in water. And the air above was poison. Working in ancient rocks, in remote country north of the Arctic Circle, palaeontologists have unearthed the fossil of a remarkable species. This new find is important evidence that helps complete the picture of the transition from sea creatures to land lubbers. Jonica Newby travels to Philadelphia in the U.S. to uncover our ancient past and catch a glimpse of the prized fossil dubbed Tiktaalik. |
