Description:

212 cars empty for a mid track change over at Hesta sididng. Configuration 2x106 & 2x106. Locos SD70ACe & GE-Dash 8. If you look close in the video you can see the damage from tropical cyclone GEORGE which flooded the rivers and access roads & bent antenna poles and crossing signs for about 200km along the rail line.

I Have answered this question before about another video. My answers is that I blow the horn according to our rules. And to say that we are in the isolated remote location as can be seen in the video. I hope this helps to explain.

Interesting. US General Code of Operating Rules--Rule 5.8.2 (11)--does not differentiate between crowded or remote areas and must be adhered to at all times unless train is in specified Quiet Zone where additional signalling equipment is used, such as electronic horns or 4 quadrant gates (barriers). Sorry I didn't see the other comment on other video. Personally I feel the rules in your country are inadequate for proper crossing safety--no offense meant to you.
