gutlic ::: Favorites I'm afraid you are "buying (learning) the language, and taking the accent for free"... Portuguese is a Roman language, of the Indo-European family. It originated in Galicia (today unfortunatly a Spainish province)and northern Portugal. YOU MUST KEEP IN MIND that Portuguese is the official language of Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique,Portugal and São Tomé e Príncipe, and co-official with Chinese in the Chinese S.A.R. of Macau and with Tetum in East Timor. gutlic ::: Favorites It would be very important for you to hear the same word with different accents, in order to distinguish what is important and common, and what is simply regional and VERY awkward, tong-tied, pronunciation. I can easily tell that you are learning from a Brazilian, and even which kind of Brazilian. In fact it seems to me very time consuming to try to imitate a Brazilian citizen, instead of simply learning the language, and work on an accent later. Zekitcha ::: Favorites Although you have a strong accent, I thing it is a nice footage for those who try to learn this language. Thanks for posting this, and do not get upset with purists. Portuguese, like English, has a variety of pronunciations. 06-12-10 09:33:58 _____________________________________________________
Zekitcha ::: Favorites Ananas and abacaxi are different fruits in Brazil, BABY. 06-12-10 09:36:19 _____________________________________________________

Zekitcha ::: Favorites Taste it and you will know, BABY. Ananás and Abacaxi are very similar, BABY. 06-12-11 14:42:49 _____________________________________________________
Zekitcha ::: Favorites Your nasal pronunciation for "MELANCIA" (watermellon) is just a masterpiece. So, don't get a flu, otherwise you won't be able to speak it properly, ok? 06-12-11 14:49:01 _____________________________________________________
missgarotinha ::: Favorites the portugal portuguese and the brazilian, same language, diff just diff accent..chill girl >.> 06-12-29 15:04:01 _____________________________________________________
bibiperez ::: Favorites Que legal...vocês aprendendo portugues 07-01-24 08:21:15 _____________________________________________________
brasilianensis ::: Favorites Well done, it is perfectly understandable by the people of Brazil. And don't worry about having a little accent (american?), brazilians don't care about this and even find it cute. Don't listen to those portuguese people, you are trying to learn brazilian portuguese which is a distinct language. Good luck! 07-06-23 14:44:16 _____________________________________________________ |
